QUESTIONS READERS ASK

WHO IS THIS BOOK FOR?+

Women in midlife and after menopause who take a GLP-1 medication and want a strength-and-protein plan to run alongside it.

DOES IT TELL ME HOW TO DOSE, CHANGE OR STOP MY MEDICATION?+

No. Medication decisions stay with your prescriber. The off-ramp chapter reports what trials found about stopping, as information for a plan you make with your prescriber.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?+

A pair of adjustable dumbbells or a few fixed pairs, one resistance band, and a chair. A gym works too. Each of the six strength patterns has three levels, so you start where you are.

I'M RARELY HUNGRY. DOES IT HELP WITH EATING?+

Yes. One chapter sets a daily protein floor with per-meal math, and another covers practical ways to eat when the medication suppresses your appetite.

IS THIS MEDICAL ADVICE?+

No. The book is educational. Check with your prescribing clinician before changing nutrition, training, supplements or activity, especially if you have low bone density, pelvic floor symptoms, or heart, kidney or blood pressure concerns. It is not written for pregnancy or breastfeeding.
